Gina Conkle brings you To Find a Viking Bride
A betrothal feast and dark-eyed Gunnar heat up the night for Viking bride Eira. She learns a shocking secret and must decide…will she be the next jarl? Or gamble on a second chance at love?
Hi, I’m Gina Conkle and I write Viking and Georgian romance, which makes for interesting characters in my head. I grew up in southern California and despite all that sunshine, I love books over beaches and stone castles over sand castles. Now I live in Michigan with my favorite alpha male, Brian, and our two sons where I’m known to occasionally garden and cook. Living in snow gives me the perfect excuse to get lost in reading and writing.
Asa Maria Bradley has contributed Viking Warrior Trouble. In the Viking Warriors series, the Norse gods Odin and Freya send immortal Vikings and Valkyries to protect the contemporary mortal realm from Ragnarök–the final battle and the end of worlds. But an ancient rune stone prophecies Loki the only surviving deity after Ragnarök and the power hungry half-god will risk everything to rule the worlds of both gods and humans. In this story, young warrior Sten is in Montana to buy guns when he runs into some trouble. Loki’s monsters attack him, his car breaks down, and he meets a sexy waitress named Cassie who he has real trouble keeping his hands off.
Asa Maria Bradley grew up in Sweden surrounded by archaeology and history steeped in Norse mythology. She arrived in the United States as a high school exchange student, which is when her ongoing addiction to ranch dressing and crime TV series started. Asa currently resides on a lake deep in the pine forests of the Pacific Northwest with a British husband and a rescue dog of indeterminate breed. Her debut novel, VIKING WARRIOR RISING, was a double RITA finalist and RT Book Reviews gave her soon-to-be-released sequel, VIKING WARRIOR REBEL, 4.5 stars and Top Pick! status. My story, The Messenger is a spin-off from my bestselling Viking novella Banished. The plot is based on a tragic episode that took place in England during the reign of King Harthacanute. Wulfram, a Jomsviking, is charged with conveying a royal edict to Earl Leofric demanding the destruction of his town of Worcester and all living things therein. The monarch, who was dying of a wasting disease and likely knew it, wanted retribution for the murder of two royal tax collectors by unknown assailants in the vicinity of the Midlands town. En route to deliver the dire tidings, Wulfram encounters Roswitha as she journeys to sell her nettle cloth in Worcester’s market. My readers know I am a firm believer in love at first sight and these two are no exception. Wulfram must find a way to obey the king and save Roswitha.
Harper St. George has penned To Tame a Viking. Merewyn never expected to fall in love with the Viking warrior who enslaved her. Eirik never thought he’d succumb to the temptation of his beautiful Saxon slave. But as they spent the winter together, neither of them were able to deny the passion that sizzled between them. Though their love was hard won, they found a way to overcome the obstacles of culture, creed, and geography. But not everyone is supportive of their newfound happiness, and a looming threat arises that puts their love at risk. The story of Merewyn and Eirik from Enslaved by the Viking continues as they face the inevitable consequences of their happily ever after.
Harper St. George was raised in the rural backwoods of Alabama and along the tranquil coast of northwest Florida. It was a setting filled with stories of the old days that instilled in her a love of history, romance, and adventure. By high school, she had discovered the historical romance novel which combined all of those elements into one perfect package. She has been hooked ever since. She lives on Florida’s emerald coast with her family. She would love to hear from you. Please visit her website atwww.harperstgeorge.com and connect with her on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/
