Thanks so much for blogging about this,Anna! I really hope Fan Fiction becomes the wave of the future because I think there are a lot of ‘closet’ writers out there just looking for a chance to show their talent. But closet writers aside, the firepower of seasoned authors that helped launch the World of de Wolfe Pack is astonishing. So may super-talented writers, including you!! It’s all very exciting!

I agree that KW offers an opportunity for aspiring as well as seasoned writers. I’ve enjoyed being part of this ground breaking project as the first historical Kindle World. Thanks for asking me.

What a great post! I also enjoyed writing in the De Wolfe Pack World. This was my first attempt at fan fiction and I found that I loved writing in Kathryn’s World. It was fun to play with her characters and settings to weave a story all my own 🙂

It’s a different mindset, isn’t it, but fun to manipulate another author’s strong characters into a world of your own creating.

I totally agree, Anna. Fan Fiction is a really unique way of getting involved in writing.

For me it was a dream come true, twofold. First, I adore Kathryn’s books so to be asked to write in her world was amazing. But secondly, I got to meet so many other phenomenal authors in the process which made it doubly special. It’s been so much more than simply writing another book.

Anna, writing in the de Wolfe Pack world was so much fun for me, not only because I’m a huge fan of Kathryn Le Veque and her stories, but for the opportunity to be a part of the very first historical romance fan fiction page on Amazon. How wonderful to bravely go where no HR writers have gone before and make history with a group of amazing writers to launch this world! It is such a great way for historical romance fans to connect with all of us and enjoy stories from medieval to Regency/Victorian to contemporary.

Feels great to be a pioneer. I’ve already learned a lot from the group, especially since we have diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Great blog, Anna! This was my first attempt at fan fiction and it was a blast! I would highly recommend it! While I think all readers will enjoy these books alone, they are even more fun to read if you start with Kathryn Le Veque’s The Wolfe! Then you’re in on the inside secrets each book touches on! I Hope both writers and readers give this a try!

My first experience with fan fiction too, and a good one.
